Dr. Betty Lou Bettner is a licensed professional counselor with more than 50 years of experience providing counseling, mental health help to individuals, couples, families, and students. She is also the author of several books on Adlerian psychology and parent education.
Dr. Bettner trains educators, counselors, social workers, and therapists in Adlerian psychology and parent education.

Teaching & Leadership
Dr. Bettner served as Director of the Family Education Center for the Springfield School District in Pennsylvania for 25 years. She created and taught parenting programs at:
- Community College of Philadelphia
- Neumann University
- Holy Family University Graduate School
These programs supported two-parent families, single parents, foster parents, and adults who work with children. They focused on understanding behavior, improving communication, and solving everyday conflicts. Her published work is often used in these programs and courses.
